The holidays should be memorable for all of the right reasons. But as you prepare for the festivities, digging out the deoractions and getting ready for guests. Keep in mind some quick and easy tips to keeping those nasty pests at bay!
- Clean and store all decorations properly after use in a clean, cool, dry area to avoid hiding and breeding from pests.
- Store all Christmas decor in air-tight containers before long-term storage. Check all trees and décor when you bring them out of storage.
- Clean up after meals and store any leftovers properly.
- Keep attics, garages and any storage areas organized and free of un-necessary clutter.
- Donate or throw away anything that is not needed or damaged so as not to store more than is needed.
- Call an exterminator or begin pest control process even if you only see one pest as that is a sign that there are others.
